Bug Description
This happened on Precise with all latest updates.
I think it was related to plugging in a USB external hard drive.
It happened twice within a few minutes.

I alsop get an error trying to submit this to Launchpad.
It says
'compiz-**:' isn't a valid tag name. Tags must start with a letter or number and be lowercase. The characters "+", "-" and "." are also allowed after the first character.
