Notification bubbles don't appear on all monitors

Bug Description
When I am using a dual monitor setup (external screen is my left screen, laptop is my right), notify-osd bubbles only appear on my right (laptop) screen.
With me working primarily on my left (external monitor) screen, this means I keep missing notify-osd bubbles.

This is a dup of 941227. I'm assuming dups tend to favor the lower-numbered bug. This current bug is lower-numbered, but that other bug has a lot more information and comments. I'm not sure of protocol, but I think somehow they should be linked.
