Bug Description
It would be great to include ppa related information when using ubuntu-bug to file a bug report. If privacy is a concern, this could be optional on ubuntu-bug reports, and provided only on non-ubuntu bug reports (reports against ppa's). Ideally, the source (whether from a ppa or the archive) as well as the version number for each package would be provided. In addition, the source and version number of each of the packages dependencies would also be provided.
This would enable better visibility of bug reporting against ppa's when testing, as well as potential third party ppa issues running non-default libraries, etc, on an end-users system.

Would it be enough to mark dependencies which do not come from Ubuntu with a special tag in the Dependencies.txt attachment, and add a field "ThirdPartyPack ages: yes" (and a corresponding tag) to bug reports? E. g.
libfoo 1.2 [Origin: LP-PPA-pitti]
That's what apt specifies as origin for PPAs. Google talk plugin has 'Google, Inc.'.
Dependencies.txt already has all the version numbers, so thaht part is already there. Also, you cannot file an Ubuntu bug against a non-Ubuntu package.
