Bug Description

When the location bar in Marlin is clicked, the edges change from the smart black to a thick light grey line. This can also be seen in the search bar for Advanced Settings (gnome-tweak-tool).

I've tried to fix these issues in the past, but failed. AFAIK, these are problems with the apps and not the themes.
However, it's worth investigating a bit more.
You could file a bug against Marlin as well :)

If I can figure out how to articulate the bug, I might just. :D

It looks fairly clean in elementary, not sure how it manages it.

Yes. You won't notice that bug in mono-contrasted themes. It's present in all the themes which use a dark toolbar. If you find a solution, I'd be so happy :)
