fails to load with "connection was reset" error but server is responding correctly

and page loaded fine with other browsers (lynx, ubuntu 8.0.1 in windows)
on my ubuntu release it was working fine before upgrading Firefox to this version.
I tried to remove all cache data, even restarting with new profile with the same results.

There was a problem in the implementation of a http server byt the ELOG tool (http://midas.psi.ch/elog/) that triggered this error. Not at the client side
