Bug Description

When I install UBUNTU V.11.10 when finished installed system reboot after that the screen came out in red collor it said:

no root file system is defined . Please correct this from the partitioning menu.

I am closing this since it sounds like you chose the advanced partitioning option and didn't allocate a / partition.
