Bug Description

Steps:
1. Have a netbook or laptop with a trackpad
2. Open a window full screen (this will cause the launcher to autohide)
3. Point mouse cursor to edge of screen
4. swipe to the left to Push off the screen
Expected:
The launcher will reveal with a reasonable amount of pointing

Result:
on both of my computers it takes 4 or 5 entire swipe of the trackpad to get the launcher to reveal. This is difficult to discover, and also very innefficient to use.

Same behavior on my desktop computer with a standard mouse, since upgrade to unity 5.2 on precise alpha.
It's very very annoying.

A workaround is to uncheck autohide in system settings

I confirm it's a duplicate. The pointer must be pushed to the left edge then continue pushing until the launcher reveals even if it's already completely to the left.
