konsole does not scroll in Precise 12.04 / konsole 4:4.8.0-0ubuntu1

I have used to scrolling it with Shift+PgUp/PgDn
Now I can't. I see scrollbar is enabled but it is always full (so I can click on it but nowhere to drag).

Well, I opened default session profile properties (Shell.profile) through Konsole menu and restored unlimited scroll buffer (selected 'no scrolling' first, then 'unlimited scrolling'). This fixed Konsole behaviour, but it is still a mystery for me why it had broken on upgrade.
