Mixxx 1.10.0 (OS X 10.5+ Universal) has vinyl control disabled

After installing Mixxx 1.10 6-bit for OSX from the mixxx.org website, I saw that vinyl control was disabled in the Preferences menu. This persisted even through deleting the Mixxx application, the associated Library files (both system and user) and the ~/.mixxx-1.[x] directory.

I originally installed Mixxx through the Mac App Store, but removing that version through the same process and replacing it with the website version (as recommended on the forum) did not yield any different result: vinyl control was still disabled in preferences.

Removing the 64-bit version and installing the 32-bit version seems to have worked around the issue. The 32-bit version does allow vinyl control and I can confirm that it works very well.

I'm running Mixxx 1.10 on Mac OS 10.6.8 ("Snow Leopard") on a 15" 2010 Macbook Pro
