daily current 3rd Feb. doesn't allow 'select other method' on setup menu

Installer menu where user can select upgrade, new install and other method, when 'other method' is selected it says a problem occured it will now start a desktop session to allow further investigation.
After entering desktop session it reports a bug which on attempt to upload says it's reported already an can be viewed in the browser, Bug #912031 which is already claimed fixed.
