Bug Description

It says Suspend works on Sony Vaio F-series at https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Laptop/Sony/Vaio/FSeries/Oneiric

It didn't work for VPCF11S1E. Following these instructions corrected the problem:

"Edit file “etc/default/grub”
Find line:
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash"
and change to:
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash acpi_sleep=nonvs"
Save and exit your text editor.
Now run:
sudo update-grub2
sudo update-initramfs -u
After reboot, the system should now suspend and resume correctly."
