Bug Description

Can't burn or erase disk with the tool integrated to gnome or gnomebaker. Error:

TOC Type: 1 = CD-ROM
scsidev: '0,0,0'
scsibus: 0 target: 0 lun: 0
scsidev: 'ATA:0,0,0'
devname: 'ATA'
scsibus: 0 target: 0 lun: 0
wodim: No such file or directory.
Cannot open SCSI driver!
For possible targets try 'wodim --devices' or 'wodim -scanbus'.
For possible transport specifiers try 'wodim dev=help'.
For IDE/ATAPI devices configuration, see the file README.ATAPI.setup from
the wodim documentation.

This has nothing to do with udev?

This is a well known bug with the fork of the program you are using.
The problem was never present in the original software.

Upgrade to a recent original cdrecord

http://cdrecord.berlios.de

and make sure the binary is installed suid root.
