Bug Description
Andy Doan mailed:
Zach thought I'd have permission to create a new project, but it looks
like I don't.
Could you create a new project for me? I've attached the bare-clone of
my repo. As this is a component for the LAVA server, I think the path in
gerrit should be lava-server/
FYI: Here's what I tried that failed:
ssh <email address hidden> -p 29418 gerrit create-project
--name lava-server/
Enter passphrase for key '/home/
Error when trying to create project: fatal: Not permitted to create
lava-server/

Concerns raised:
- android. git.linaro. org was intended solely for Android platform code, that would be a first "custom" project there (criteria: would never be accepted upstream)
- not a place where Linaro projects are usually looked for, in particular, away from the rest of LAAV codebase
- requires additional setup, maintenance, and support efforts from Infra team, whereas Launchpad and git.linaro.org offer hassle-free hosting options
Confirmed that should be hosted at android. git.linaro. org by Zach and Andy, approved by Danilo.
