Custom messages cannot be edited in Empathy.

Launch Empathy after adding an account > Click 'Available' > Select '(Away symbol) Custom message...' > Type your message > Click the drop down arrow > select 'Edit Custom messages...'

Then, I just get a blank window, no custom messages are there.

Also, I notice that when a new notification happens, the empathy tray icon blinks. When that happens, an 'icon missing' symbol appears. (in the Cinnamon panel)

we have released empathy 3.3.4 recently so can you confirm this issue with empathy 3.3.4 with latest updated?

Empathy 3.3.4 does not seem to be there in the repos. The latest version
there is 3.2.0. So you have a PPA for installing it?

this bug is not present in empathy 3.3.4
so
