Seems cupsd crashed. Did you also get a crash notification popup and report the crash there? If not, can you please do that? You should be able to reproduce the crash with "sudo cupsd" in a terminal.

Closing this report, as we need a proper crash report to get any sensible data. Bug 911436 is a likely cause, that's currently causing cups crashes often.
