Bug Description

uGet from the Oneiric and Precise repositories is not built with AppIndicator support so you need to enable the systray to easily access various features.

The application does come with an indicator, the package simply needs to add libappindicator-dev to the build-depends.

Our PPA packages do come with libappindicator but Debian package does not so when Ubuntu pulled straight from Debian the error was created.

Use the DEB from our website or use the PPA, either way will solve this.
