Bug Description

Testing Linux kernel version 3.3-rc2 (same with 3.3-rc1) from Ubuntu ppa mainline ("http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.3-rc2-precise/"ppa) nvidia 290 failed to build.
Installed with "sudo dpkg -i *.deb".
Reproducible.

I'm sure Alberto Milone will soon update the nvidia packaging scripts to recognize kernel 3.3. He usually does so without mentioning it in any bug reports. But for now...

Yes. Its in fact a duplicate of #576648.
No workaround for now.
