Bug Description
This is the compiz portion of bug #924978. From that report:
"Today I tried to upgrade my son's machine from 11.10 to 12.04. Things went generally ok except the unity panel and launcher and window decorations all went away. I am reporting this from another machine and will attempt to add the compiz crash file after the install is complete. Unfortunately I will not be able to reproduce this as the machine will have been upgraded."
