Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Unfortunately we can't fix it, because your description doesn't yet have enough information.
Please include the following additional information, if you have not already done so (please pay attention to lspci's additional options), as required by the Ubuntu Kernel Team:
1. Please include the output of the command 'uname -a' in your next response. It should be one, long line of text which includes the exact kernel version you're running, as well as the CPU architecture.
2. Please run the command 'dmesg > dmesg.log' and attach the resulting file 'dmesg.log' to this bug report.
3. Please run the command 'lspci -vvnn > lspci-vvnn.log' and attach the resulting file 'lspci-vvnn.log' to this bug report.
For your reference, the full description of procedures for kernel-related bug reports is available at http://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingKernelProblems . Thanks in advance!

Hi, I haven't done the test yet, the reason is that two days ago I went to
the new linux kernel 2.6.20.11 generic and now i have no wireless

if i go to restricted drivers manager i have intel(R) PRO/Wireless 3945
network connection driver for linux , and supposedly is in use, but when i
click on network manager i get that eth1 is not configured, tomorrow i'll do
the test you ask with the previous kernel

thanks

Running 'sudo lspci -vvnn' can be run with either kernel and will return the same results. While 'dmesg' would be best from the kernel that is having the problem so we can see what is going on. Thanks again.

In one of your last comments you indicated that you updated your system and it is working correctly. Is that still the case? Thanks again.

I have noticed the exact same problem too since upgrading to Feisty from Edgy. I notice the signal strength of the wireless connection drops to nothing in my task bar applet if I download for more than about 5 seconds. It also seems to trip my router up when this happens and the router does not come on line for a few seconds after this. I too have Inter Pro wireless adapter.

It used to work perfectly in Edgy and I only noticed this since I upgraded. Also I don't think the router is the problem as we also use a Windows laptop and do not notice this (only when I use my Feisty laptop).
