Bug Description

Torrent downloading metadata for long time so decided to "Delete torrent and files".

This repeatedly crashed out Transmission. (Had to restart each time)
On closer inspection no files were downloaded so just used "Remove torrent".

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. However, I am closing it because the bug has been fixed in the latest development version of Ubuntu - Raring Ringtail. I have also verified that It is also fixed in Ubuntu 12.10. I think this fix appears in 2.33-1 or later, so I think 12.04 Precise would also have this fix. If you can reproduce it in 12.04, please reopen this bug and follow the SRU steps below.

If you need a fix for the bug in previous versions of Ubuntu, please do steps 1 and 2 of the SRU Procedure [1] to bring the need to a developer's attention.
