Bug Description

Binary package hint: kde-systemsettings

In KDE System Settings go to Network Settings, Domain Name System settings. Note that A is the accelerator for the Add button for the DNS Servers list, the Static Hosts list and the Apply button at the bottom right -- all of which are currently disabled.

Now enter Administrator Mode and again see the DNS tab. Now the accelerator for "Add" of Static Hosts has been changed so as to not conflict with that of "Add" of DNS servers, but still the accelerator for Apply is the same. (Do some harmless change like typing a letter and erasing it to enable the Apply button.)

This must be corrected.

I can confirm this on Kubuntu 7.04 Feisty. The behavior of the accelerator key is quite vague, and either Add or Apply is activated, depending on where the focus is in the dialog box.

status: Unconfirmed → Confirmed

Since knetworkconf is totally busted and seemingly unmaintained upstream, we are removing knetworkconf from distribution.
