Bug Description

The Gmail docklet is having some trouble showing that there's mail. The icon is always transparent, even when mail has arrived. The indicator under the icon works sometimes, but not all the time. In addition, the desktop notifications (through Ubuntu) occasionally repeat, as in the new mail will appear, and then the same message will pop up again later.

I've attempted reinstalling and to no avail.

All debug output is attached.

Version 2.2.0 bzr docky r1819 ppa on Ubuntu 10.10
Xorg version: 1.9.0
Video card: nVidia GeForce GT430
GNOME version: 2.32.0
Mono version: 2.6.7

No Jack, you can't possibly confirm this on 12.04 because networking doesn't work at all with any docklet there.

The bug you are confirming is bug 734490 and it is already known to affect 12.04.
