Bug Description

Hi, I just noticed a bug in the workspace switched. I'm using twinview, and the black background isn't drawn for the workspace switcher on my secondary monitor. It is on the first one though. Instead the area is left invalid (as if glClear() isn't called).

The monitors are different sizes, which might possibly make a difference.

This affects me too. I'm running Ubuntu 11.10 64-bit on a Lenovo T520. It's been this way since I upgraded from 11.04.. this isn't a destructive problem, but it's quite hideous and mars what, otherwise, may have been a very visually appealing function.
