Bug Description

The nvidia-curren tpackage in precise ought to depend on the linux-headers-generic package.

If you don't have kernel headers installed, the driver will install, but will fail to build the kernel module. What's more, the installation script doesn't warn about this, it fails silently. If you can't add a depends on linux-headers-generic, perhaps you can fix the install script so it will give a sensible error message if the kernel module fails to build?

It should depend on "linux-headers", not "linux-headers-generic".

That's true. But doesn't it require linux-source as well?
