Bug Description
yesterday I have added Skype and gigolo to the systray using "gsettings set". That update worked as expected. Today I have upgraded the system and all systray items disappeared. I have tried to restore as folows without success:
gsettings set com.canonical.
GLib-CRITICAL **: g_variant_
GLib-CRITICAL **: g_variant_
GLib-CRITICAL **: g_variant_
GLib-CRITICAL **: g_variant_
0-68:can not parse as value of type `(null)'
Those settings seem correct, but are not displayed in the top panel.
gsettings get com.canonical.

Not actually an X bug, but not sure what it should be filed against.
