Bug Description

Font rendering in Kubuntu appears different from GNOME.
It is always employed the 'bold' font type instead of 'regular' resulting in a fat interface.

Playing with font settings (hinting, subpixel, dpi..) in kde control module doesn't help.

It is probably related to this bug, marked as solved but still present:
