Stackapplet does not find any account

When I launch the Stackapplet and its Preferences window, I am not able to find my username. Even if I use the browsing functionality and type the first letters of my account name, clicking on Search doesn't cause any reaction.

OK I upgraded to the latest Launchpad PPA version (it evolved a lot!). I could connect to my account only if I gave the NUMBER associated to my account, which is not so user friendly.
But the Search feature still did not work.

New correction: it doesn't work if I write my user name starting with a capital letter. But it does if I write my user name with a lower case first letter.
