Bug Description
Binary package hint: update-manager
The upgrader helpfully warns the user that they have software installed which is no longer supported. However, it does this only after the upgrade is mostly complete. Instead, it should warn the user about this first, and give them the opportunity to stay with the old release if those applications are important to them.
Also, the text should be updated to reflect the standardized terminology for 'maintenance' vs. 'support'; please talk with Jane about how to correct it.
