I'm using Kubuntu 11.10 and Arista 0.97 (retrieved from repository). "Create Conversion" button doesn't show anything when I click it. Thus, I cannot use the software at all.

The same problem here! In the Gnome, I know, It's possible solve this bug installinng the gnome-icon-theme-full (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/arista/+bug/875772). But, how about KDE? Doesn't it have another solution?

Hi Kleryston!

The workaround works on KDE as well. Thanks!

IMHO, this means Arista is dependent on gnome-icon-theme-full, and package dependencies should be adjusted.

If you don't want to install gnome-icon-theme-full then another option is to untick the "search for optical media capture devices" in the preferences. Obviously you'll lose the ability to rip from DVD if you do this though.
