Add tabs in the editor

Feature request:
It would be nice to have the tabs in the editor. When switching tabs pathbar changed to its content.

My USE CASE: When editing a page, I often switch to the other, because the structure of the wiki forces store data more granular.
I would like to make switching between the pages much faster than using the pathbar. This is reminiscent of bookmarks, but they are more "permanent".
This can be seen in nautilus (http://www.tuxarena.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/nautilus.png) or any browser. IMHO, tabs together with the pathbar are very convenient.

Related to bug #306256. I myself am more in favor of using separate windows to show multiple pages, so that is my first priority.

The lack of separate window is in the fact that it is read-only.

I second the OP: tabs would be a great addition to Zim!
While separate windows for multiple, writeable pages might be nice as well, leaving everything in one window has imo the advantage of less "window-cluttering" so to speak.

It would be ideal if it were possible to do both, similar to e.g. firefox, where you can grab a tab and drag it out of the old window to form its own, new window. Although I guess that would need a loooot of work, so I´ll stick to my primary whish of getting tabs.

That is actually the one and only thing I miss since I changed from using WikiPad to Zim, everything else is way better suited to what I want to do. Just...tabs are extremely helpful, incorporating them would be great.

I vote for Tabs!

I use a Wiki to organize my work, so I iterate the 90% of my time between the same 2 o 3 pages.

Using Tab I could open the 3 pages and work easily cop-pasting contents and opening links inside the tabs while other tabs are fixed.

I think it will be a grea plugin. ;)
