Bug Description
When configuring a "Binocular" type eyepiece in the Oculars plugin, the view does not flip properly when switching to it. To reproduce:
1. Configure a telescope with both horizontal and vertical flip checked
2. Configure a normal eyepiece
3. Configure a binocular type eyepiece
4. Select an object on the screen and hit ctrl+O to enter ocular view
5. Use Alt-O to select the telescope and eyepiece (not binocular)
6. Exit ocular view with ctrl+O
7. Enter ocular view again with ctrl+O -- view is correct (flipped in both axes)
8. Use Alt-O to select the binocular
* Expectation is that view is reverted to correct; instead it is still flipped
9. Hit Ctrl-O to exit Ocular view, then hit Ctrl+O to re-enter it
* This time the view is correct (since the binocular is still selected)
10. Interestingly, if you select a normal eyepiece after the binocular is selected, it WILL flip the image properly. But the reverse will not happen -- re-selecting the binocular does not "un-flip" the image.

I noticed this when I was working on the new GUI for the Oculars plug-in. It has been fixed in the development version: bazaar. launchpad. net/~stellarium /stellarium/ trunk/revision/ 4948.1. 11

You can download a test build for Windows that has these changes from the usual place: /launchpad. net/stellarium/ +download
