Installer crash 12.04-A2 in VBox 4.1.6-r74713 at 'select timezone'

Just packed it's bags and went... RC
Clean install to VM with 1024RAM, 1CPU, VT-x and nested paging 'on', 8Gb disk, 128Mb video, 3D 'on'; previously running 11.10 OK.

One of the updates to Virtualbox4.1.8 has included an adaption to Ubuntu12.04, which is needed to run it stable.
So the propability is there that you have hit it with 4.1.6.

Please install VB4.1.8 and retry.

Looks like you have used the alpha1. Since there was many fixes, so reporting on that old version is not with much use.

I do not want to do that; would be the best you set to fix released this here and open a new one when you hit the crasher with the very latest program versions(unlikely I guess), which is for Ubuntu reporting the base in common.
