modem-manager crashed with SIGSEGV in internal_queue_command()

i tried to go online using my sierra mc8775 wwan-modem. after establishing the connection it was closed within seconds. when trying it again the modem seemed to bo busy, so i deactivated it with rfkill. then modem-manager crashed

I have unmarked it as a security issue since this bug does not show evidence of allowing attackers to cross privilege boundaries nor directly cause loss of data/privacy. Have you checked if this is still an issue in Ubuntu 12.04? A test with a live CD is probably sufficient to test this.

Ah, I see that this problem was experienced using a beta version of Precise. Please test again with the final version with all updates applied.
