Bug Description
Binary package hint: casper
During installation, casper displays several quite important messages with usplash, and they show up in unreadably small text. This includes:
* At the end of the boot process, the message "Please remove the disc, close the tray (if any) and press ENTER to continue"
* After checking the installation CD for defects, the message "Check finished, [number] checksums failed Press any key to reboot your system"
This is an accessibility issue: I had to peer closely at the screen to work out what was going on, and my parents would be unable to read the text at all.
Not sure if it's a general problem, or just how the display shows up on my computer (Toshiba Equium-L20 laptop, 1024x768 screen). If it's general, any chance of either changing the usplash theme to improve readability (just changing to black text would help), or making key messages more visible some other way?
