Bug Description
When I type "exit", Control+d, or otherwise exit the shell of the last tab, the entire app should quit. Currently it just re-launches the shell. This behavior is consistent with basically every other terminal emulator, including [u]rxvt, and gnome-terminal. If this behavior is really not preferred by everyone, at least make it an option in the preferences.

Well, the usual behavior with tabs is to not close the app from the tab close button. But in this case, since we're looking at a keyboard based workflow, I think we have to decide whether "exit" means close tab or quit app.
I think based on this bug report that people are expected exit to mean quit. And in that case, we shouldn't break their expectations :)
