Bug Description
Seen on Galaxy Android Ace and S, Android 2.3.3.
Steps taken:
1. Start any game and make sure you didn't lock the rotation of the screen;
2. Start any game and rotate the phone in your hands 180°.
Observed results:
It's possible to play games on Android phones only when holding the phone in one way. While I do understand that making it possible to play the games in all 4 ways could be problematic (and I'm not suggesting to do that either) I find it would be a good idea to make it possible to let people play in both landscapes modes, rather than one only.
A couple of good examples as to why from personal experience:
- Depending on where the socket to recharge the phone is the inability to rotate the phone 180° and play while charging can be uncomfortable for some people due to the position and the length of the cable and other factors;
- Left-handed people (and not only them) may find it more comfortable to play with the HOME button on the left. Some other devices may even have the buttons in a different arrangement.
Essentially, it seems to me it's more polite to try and accommodate as many people and preferences as possible.
