Bug Description
sp-canvas.cpp fails to build when the GSEAL_ENABLE preprocessor symbol is defined.
We are attempting to directly access the private "flags" field of a GtkObject. To be precise, we are actually setting customised flags in a derived class.
Note that GtkObject itself is deprecated, so it may be best to fix this issue at the same time.
