Bug Description
I'm using Linux Mint 12 (Gnome shell 3.2) and basenji works fine but thne search window can't be closed, since it's opened as a modal window.
Esc key doesn't exit the search dialog and there is no icon/window control to close the window. The only way is using ALT+F4 or the context menu to close it.

Hi, this is a known problem and has been fixed in the daily ppa. Please give it a try.
