Bug Description

Ubuntu Release: 12.04
Ubiquity version: 2.9.10
Expected result: For ubiquity to cleanly exit
Actual result: Ubiquity crashed

Not a big deal here - it didn't crash until after it had finished installing so I assume the actual install is all fine, but it'd be nice to get this fixed at some point before release :)

Okay - quick update on this one, apparently before this happened, it failed to install packages from the installation source (USB stick in my case, made with the USB Startup Disk Creator from Ubuntu).

Not sure if it's related or a different bug but NO packages were installed and the OS was unable to start.

It didn't even install the bootloader, I tried reinstalling the bootloader by starting the live OS from the USB and using grub-install, and that worked, however Ubuntu still wouldn't start (vmlinuz existed, but there was no initrd, it just kernel paniced when I tried to start it)
