Bug Description

I use UCK to remaster Natty 11.04. I am from Switzerland (speaking swiss-german) and choose "de" as default language. But I am not able to change the default keymap to "ch". Its default is always "de", like the language.

I can choose "Swiss German" manually in the boot menu by pressing F3 at each boot. Then "keyboard-configuration/layoutcode=ch" is appended to /proc/cmdline and it works as intended. But I'd prefer if this is the default. It would be great if UCK could ask for a default keymap separately and then alter the corresponding file(s) accordingly.

After hours of googling, tweaking and rebooting I did not find a solution yet. So please leave a comment here if you know how to change the default boot keymap of an Ubuntu 11.04 live-cd or similar releases/distros.
