Bug Description
I was installing the alpha 1 Precise ISO, x64 version in a VirtualBox VM to give it a try when the installer crashed an started apport. VirtualBox is running on top of Oneiric x64 and happily runs 11.10 x64 VMs. The user name and password in the log files are used for testing (as will be obvious when reading them!) so there is no security risk in exposing them.
