Bug Description

When doing a Oneiric upgrade, phpmyadmin installed an update. During the install process it requested my mysql admin password. I entered the incorrect password. There seemed to be an option for retrying (with prompt), but it failed to re-request my password. Thus failing perpetually in a loop. This required me to issue an abort for that package upgrade and led to further prompts and warnings in the Oneiric upgrade.
