usb-creator-kde crashed with KeyError in update_target(): u'/org/freedesktop/UDisks/devices/sdb1'

This happens when I want to format a usb drive connected to Kubuntu running under VirtualBox 4.1.8 under Linux and I choose a custom ISO image of Kubuntu alpha to write on that USB drive to make a live USB version of that system.
