Bug Description
3.0.0-14 has introduced something that causes the boot-process to hang for 60 seconds (as seen in dmesg) on every boot.
Rolling-back to 3.0.0-12/13 and the problem disappears. However, the problems remains in 3.0.0-15 (Ubuntu proposed).
Issue is evident in dmesg between the lines:
[ 2.127796] EXT4-fs (dm-0): mounted filesystem with ordered data mode. Opts: (null)
[ 62.340192] init: ureadahead main process (306) terminated with status 5
Hardware is Lenovo X100e with Intel 320 SSD, and the software is a fresh install of Xubuntu (AMD64) 11.10 (LVM on GPT) and using flgrx driver (though also tested without).
I've had a look, and 3.0.0-14 includes a few EXT4 related patches, but I don't know if this is relevant to the problem?

I've reinstalled several times and tried a few different permutations to see if anything helped. This is all Xubuntu 11.10 from the alternate-iso image on LVM on a GPT'd SSD.
A fresh install causes no problems. An upgrade to 3.0.0-13 causes no problems. Upgrading to 3.0.0-14 (with no other updates) introduces the 60 second boot-hang. Updating the whole system (including the kernel) introduces the problem. Removing the -14/-15 kernel and rolling-back to -12/-13 removes the problem.
The 60-second "hang" appears in 3.0.0-14 and -15. The issue was also evedent when I installed the 3.2 kernel from Pangolin.
The one interesting thing I've noticed is that the 60-second hang doesn't appear on the first reboot after upgrading to -14/-15 from a fresh install, but it does appear on the second (and every subsequent) reboot.
The regular, near-exactly 60-seconds seems very odd; like something is waiting to time-out?
