Bug Description

Hi,

When I load up GAIM in fiesty herd 5, if an account is auto-login enabled, it gets stuck on auto-login. I would have to disable the account and re enable it in order for it to login.

Thanks,
Ben

Thank you for your bug. Do you have network-manager installed and not managing your network? That looks like bug #82335

Hi,

It does seem like a Network-manager issue bug that you mentioned. I do
have it installed (because Fiesty seems to have installed it for me in
the "Notification Area")

But the weird thing is, the new Network-manager icon on the
"Notification Area" that was installed with Fiesty does not detect my
network device, while if I add the Network-Monitor applet using "Add to
Panel" the applet works fine..

However, this may be the case since they seem to be different applets
("Notification Area" one is 'Network-Manager' and the Gnome-Applet's is
'Network Monitor').

Thanks,
Ben

network-manager only manages the interfaces which are not already configured, marking the bug duplicate then
