xdg-mime complains when doubleclicking on a downloaded file

Bug Description
It seems that xdg-mime doesn't like filenames that begin with 'file://'. When doubclicking a file in the content window when running qbittorrent from cli outputs something like this:
xdg-mime: file 'file:/
qbittorrent is version 2.9.2
