Bug Description
After an update I allowed on december 8th, I discovered that 4 of my most important folders were gone completely, and could not be restored by whatever actions.
In these folders were about 40GB of valuable data.
I tried to get a restore point working, but it didn't work out, so that this data seems lost.
I would appreciate any information concerning how to recover/ restore the data!
1) Ubuntu 11.04
2) unknown
3) I only expected an update, and did certainly NOT expect so many data to vanish completely!
4) As mentioned before, valuable data got lost, and could not be restored, neither using a restore point, nor by any other measures.
