Bug Description

When I engage Spread Mode (Super+W), I'm presented with a splattering of "Shrunk" windows. Yet there's no organisation to the layout.

For example, it would be helpful if windows were grouped by application, maybe an enclosed-box for each application-group of windows. An enclosure for Firefox windows, G-Edit windows, LibreOffice Writer windows, etc. This would help users quickly identify the applications they have open along with the app's associated windows. It would also speed up the process of identifying which window the user is after. For example, maybe the application's position in Spread Mode could be alphabetical. So if the user is looking for a particular Firefox window, he knows he's looking where the "F section" would be (relative to what apps are open) for Firefox and then the specific window within the "Firefox group of windows."

I'm open to whatever organisation-scheme the community thinks best. But there should be some sort of organisation/coherence to how the windows within Spread Mode are presented & laid out. The organisation should be predictable and readily apparent to users. Preferably so that even new users can figure out where to expect a particular shrunk-window to appear within Spread Mode.

Thanks for your bug report, the spread is definitely an area that has some issues could do with design attention and improvement, unfortunately improvements to the spread won't be landing with 12.04, but hopefully with a subsequent release.
