Bug Description
I use Ubuntu 12.04 Alpha 1 and just noticed that gedi does not launch from the command line , but launches flawlessly from the dash
How do I reproduce the problem :
1. vibhav@
2. When I launch gedit using dash , it launches perfectly but I get some output on the terminal
"** CRITICAL **: _gedit_
3. And when I close the gedit session (launched by the dash) , my terminal (from which I launched gedit which was unresponsive) exits to bash
apt-cache policy gedit returns

Thank you for your bug report, does it start if you run it twice on the command line? i.e gedit & gedit?
