Caja doesn't remember passwords for remote shares

Linux Mint 12, fully patched as of this writing; Caja 2011.11.10.

I regularly need to access files on another computer in our house. When I go to the directory on the other computer, Caja prompts me for a password and offers the following options:

- Forget password immediately.
- Remember password until you logout.
- Remember password forever.

I have selected "Remember password forever", but the resulting behavior is "Remember password until you logout". I have to enter the same information the next time I log in and need to access those files. I installed Linux Mint 12 the day after release, and have duplicated this behavior several times.

This is not a showstopper for me; it's a minor inconvenience in the whole scheme of things. However, it is a regression.

(Possibly useful information: The other computer, where the files reside, runs on Mageia. Nautilus, on the Gnome 3 "side" of Linux Mint 12, does remember the passwords in between sessions.)

I'm experiencing a similar problem, perhaps the same bug: Caja does not remember the passwords for my encrypted drives. Running Caja version 1.2.0-1 according to Synaptic.
